Oni's second poetry manuscript, Spring, was selected by Mark Doty as a winner of the 2007 National Poetry Series Open Competition. Her book will be published by the University of Illinois Press in August 2008.
Currently, Oni is preparing her spring "Poetry in Piano, part 2" concert program as well as working on a new poetry project for upcoming piano concerts and poetry readings scheduled in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Pennsylvania, among others.
