Oni's second poetry manuscript, Spring, was selected by Mark Doty as a winner of the 2007 National Poetry Series Open Competition. Her book will be published by the University of Illinois Press in August 2008. The book will include an auto-run CD of the Flash animation of Oni's kinetic poem, "The Mandrake Vehicles," currently displayed online at Conduit literary magazine.

Oni is in the midst of an interdisciplinary concert project relating poetry to piano. Each spring from spring 2007 through 2009, she will perform a different solo piano concert of pieces that are related to poetry in some way, presenting the original poetic texts and their relationship to the music as part of the concert.
